Ariel Gail

Prof. Gail S. Goodman has been a distinguished professor of psychology since 1993 and director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely known as the pioneer of modern-day scientific research of eyewitness accounts from children's memories as well as the role of children victimization in court. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer and has been awarded many awards and grants. She has offered policy and research consultations to numerous agencies and government departments around the globe. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She was a part of numerous professional organizations, including that of Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. She served as president of the American Psychological Association's Developmental Psychology Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
