Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress best known for playing Bo in The Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, who was a well-known actor as well as a producer, director, playwright, educator as well as Director of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting profession in November 1999. Later, she spent the following decade relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actorsworkshop held in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, they married in 2009. The couple renewed their vows April 10th 2011 at Fredericton in the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was born in May 2013, a son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second child was born the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's work on television includes her role in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as the role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the finale of the third season. She announced the pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special of 6 January 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she's ready to go back to work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially announced the beginning of the production of the fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her role as Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! named the couple as the top TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to the show's popularity, Silk has earned a significant internet following via social media.
