Also, she performed at local bars such as Tootsie's in Broadway. Alaina is the winner in 2009 of Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park's WinniSTAR young talent competition. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer. This led her to sing. Alaina had previously worked at CiC's Pizza. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
